At Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation our vision is to build a society where everyone stays healthier for longer. Every day, people across our communities face health challenges that shape their lives and futures. We believe everyone deserves to live in good health.
We are one of the UK’s oldest and largest health Foundations, with over 500 years of history. Today, we are rooted in Lambeth and Southwark but our reach extends far beyond. Through our endowment - one of the largest in the country - we invest for both financial return and positive health impact. We work with the NHS, communities and partners across sectors to tackle health inequity, support innovation, and back bold ideas that can transform society.
Our vision
Our impact
Our impact is felt every day through our work. Our three NHS charities help fund pioneering treatments, research and staff wellbeing with Evelina London, supporting children and families with life-changing care and Guy’s Cancer Charity advancing precision oncology and patient support. Our Impact on Urban Health programmes work with local communities and partners to address the wider social and economic factors that drive poor health. This so together, we can build the foundations of a healthier society - for Lambeth, Southwark and beyond.
In 2023/24, we committed over £37 million through our NHS charities and Urban Health programmes. This funded projects ranging from cutting-edge radiotherapy equipment to partnerships addressing child poverty and air pollution.
At Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, we know real change happens when people come together. Every donor, partner, clinician, and colleague plays a role in creating better health for all.
